Terms of sale

Last updated: October 22, 2026. These terms apply to every order placed on mudlark.venkai.fr. They are written to be read, not skimmed past. If anything here is unclear, email contact@venkai.fr before you order.

1. Who we are

The seller is Enzo Laurenceau--Lhérisson, sole trader trading as Venkai, Rue Théodore Vander Elst 142, 1170 Watermael-Boitsfort, Belgium, company number BE 1042.408.223 ("we"). You are "you".

2. Who can order

We sell to consumers with a delivery address in the United States, for personal use. We do not sell for resale.

3. Products and descriptions

We describe each product from our supplier's specifications. Product photos are illustrations made with AI image tools from the supplier's photos: colors and textures can differ slightly from the item you receive. Sizes are given in inches. We do not claim that a product will fit every dog, solve every mess, or work the first time. Some dogs need a few tries.

Products ship from our supplier, not from Belgium. The country of origin is shown on the product page.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Shipping to the US is $10.99 per order, free when the order includes a towel and the door mat, and is shown at checkout before you pay. Sales tax is added at checkout only where we are required to collect it, and is shown before you pay. Payment is taken by Stripe when you place the order. We never see or store your full card number.

If a price on the site is obviously wrong (for example a missing digit), we will tell you before shipping and you can confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. How the contract is formed

Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when Stripe confirms your payment and we send the order confirmation email. If we cannot accept an order (out of stock, address we cannot ship to), we refund you in full and tell you why.

6. Shipping

Shipping times, delays and your right to cancel a late order are set out on the Shipping page, which is part of these terms. In short: we tell you the shipping time before you order; if we cannot meet it, we email you before it passes and you can cancel for a full refund.

7. Returns and refunds

You can return any item within 30 days of delivery, for any reason. Details are on the Returns page, which is part of these terms.

8. Warranty

We do not offer a separate written warranty. Your legal guarantee rights under the law of your state, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness, are not limited by these terms. If an item arrives damaged, defective or not as described, tell us within 30 days of delivery with a photo: we replace it or refund it, and you pay no return shipping.

9. Safe use

The towel is for wiping and drying a dog. Don't leave it with a dog that chews fabric, and stop if your dog shows pain or a paw is cut or irritated. The door mat is a floor covering: keep it away from heaters, open flames and fireplaces, and make sure it lies flat so nobody trips.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, our liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

11. Problems and disputes

Most problems are solved by one email. Please write to contact@venkai.fr with your order number first: we answer within 2 business days and try to settle within 30 days. You can also contest a charge with your card issuer. Nothing here stops you from going to small-claims court or a consumer agency in your state.

12. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. This choice does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the state where you live.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one shown on this page when you placed it; we keep dated copies.
